Momo's Bubbles is a bubble tea shop from Oulu International School. We started our company in November 2019 as a group of four ninth-graders studying entrepreneurship under the JA company program. What is bubble tea?
Bubble tea is a sweet dessert drink from Taiwan made of milk tea and -- our special ingredient -- tapioca pearls! These tapioca pearls are the bubbles in our bubble tea, and they are made from the cassava root. It's fresh, delicious, and very fun to drink. Momo's Bubbles sells three different bubble tea flavors: classic, strawberry, and caramel coffee. We have three cup sizes: small, medium, and large.
Why bubble tea?
The idea for a bubble tea shop came to us during one entrepreneurship lesson, in which we were brainstorming for business ideas. Our group member, Cha-Cha, who is originally from Indonesia, suddenly suggested, "Hey, what if we make bubble tea?"

Bubble tea is a popular phenomenon in many Asian countries and has progressively spread to the Western World, especially in countries such as the U.S. and the U.K. It is also a very popular drink online and on social media, known for its uniqueness and aesthetic.
